On the three days before Ascension, we in Klaarland celebrate rogation days: a beautiful, old tradition when we, after Lauds, walk in procession around the monastery, following the cross, asking God’s blessing on the surrounding nature, the fields, the growth and blooming of the crops. While walking, we sing the Litany of the Saints.
